LIMITED EDITION OF 250 PIECES The Maestro 4.0 Ducati 30° Anniversario 916 is a collaboration between Gerald Charles and Ducati, blending the precision of watchmaking with the fervour of motorcycling. Gerald Charles revives the iconic jumping hours, a complication Mr. Genta introduced with the Maestro GC39.

Three level dial with rehault and inner part outlining the skeleton hour central disc central wheel nods to the original Ducati 916 motorbike wheel rim jumping hours disc: anti-clockwise rotation of the exposed disc where all the numbers are visible. Hand: Baton shaped minute hand filled with white Super-LumiNova with blue light at night

Material: HNBR Vulcanized Rubber with vanilla scent Description: Clou de Paris on one side and the GC logo’s tapisserie on the back. One fixed loop and one free. Original design by Mr. Gérald Charles Genta. Sanblasted Grade 5 Titanium buckle with GC logo engraved. Maestro 4.0 Ducati 30° Anniversario 916 features a marbled-black forged carbon case that comes from the material used for Ducati motorbikes and, as a superlight and resistant material, ideal for this watch. The watch also features a black mat ceramic bezel. The special case construction guarantees high water-resistance up to 10 ATM/100 m. and 5G shock-resistance.

Jumping hours complication

The design legacy of Mr. Gérald Charles Genta, Gerald Charles founder, and Mr. Massimo Tamburini, Ducati former designer

The jumping hours complication is immediately recognisable by the absence of the hour hand. Hours are displayed through a window or revealing a portion of a larger disc placed underneath the dial. At the centre of the case, a central wheel has been added as a subtle nod to the original Ducati 916 wheel rim.
