Design & Uniqueness

A precious cascade of diamonds pave’ on a white gold 18k watch case with a Swiss mechanical movement. It is the legendary Turbo timepiece, designed by Mr Gerald Charles Genta. It combines curves and lines with large, squared screws at the edges. The Elliptic design lines evoke the Turbo propeller engine of race cars from where this watch takes its name. A revisited Elliptic shaped dial with precious stones and chronograph counters presents the face of a complex movement. Its mechanics are manufactured in Switzerland in collaboration with the centenary engineering firm, Dubois Depraz.
The turbo has always been protagonist of controversial opinions, bearing a distinctive shape and extremely unusual forms. Mr Gerald himself once said: “I would never wear a Turbo, it is too bulky for me”. Interestingly the legendary Gerald did not like to wear watches since he saw them as the opposite of freedom. The Turbo requires an important wrist to be properly carried. It is a unique luxury watch that will be noticed.
