LIMITED EDITION OF 10 PIECES The Maestro 9.0 Tourbillon Gem-Set Diamonds features 66 baguette-cut stones of the highest purity set by hand into an 18K white gold bezel. The case is in medical grade stainless steel.

An homage to the Maestro flying tourbillon created in 2005 by Mr. Gérald Charles Genta

The Maestro 9.0 Tourbillon case is crafted in medical-grade stainless steel and hosts a 60-seconds flying tourbillon cage in titanium in the shape of the Maison’s GC logo. The flying tourbillon is a complication dear to our Maison, as the Maestro case’s signature “smile” at 6 o’clock was originally conceived to host the Tourbillon’s cage.

PRECIOUS STONES SET BY HAND

Complex engineering solutions have been applied to integrate a series of precious gems into the Maestro’s curved case architecture. The challenge is brought up by the irregular shape of the bezel which requires a special cut for each precious stone.

Flying tourbillon

The exclusive manufacture movement features bespoke bridge designs decorated with a special vertical Côtes de Genève pattern inspired by tailoring, thanks to Mr. Genta’s Italian heritage. Anglages diamond polished. Radial côtes de Genève finished bridge of the tourbillon. Yellow gold colour engravings. Gerald Charles’ team succeeded in realizing a highly sophisticated 60-seconds flying tourbillon that oscillates at 4 Hz and in delivering a highly technical mechanical watch that remains incredibly slim, measuring just 9mm thick.

A signature in motion

For the Maestro 9.0 Tourbillon, a unique tourbillon cage has been developed in the shape of the Maison’s GC logo. Through the sapphire crystal case back, the intricate design and finishing of the 9.0 automatic 60-second flying tourbillon caliber come into full view, alongside the movement’s 22-karat rose gold oscillating mass. The bezels is decorated with baguette-cut diamonds set by specialized artisans.
