The Maestro 8.0 GC Sport Squelette watch combines Mr. Genta's unmistakable Maestro case shape with an extraordinary open-worked movement. This skeleton watch truly celebrates the "art" of the mechanical timepiece and was created by contemporary and world-renowned watch designer Octavio Garcia. The case of the Maestro 8.0 GC Sport Squelette is based on the Maestro 2.0 Ultra-Thin model, and it has been slimmed down to 8.35mm, to enhance the watch's ergonomics further and push elegance and performance to their limits. The Maestro 8.0 GC Sport Squelette is water-resistant to 100 metres.

Material: HNBR Vulcanized Rubber with vanilla scent. Description: Clou de Paris on one side and the GC logo's tapisserie on the back. One fixed loop and one free. Bleuie subtle details

A very unique manufacturing detail is the “bleuissage” treatment for the screws: once over-heated by hand, they acquire the shade called "bleuie", which comes from the resulting protective finish.

Decentered micro-rotor in 22K rose gold 4N; finishings: brushed snailturn pattern on the dial side, sandblasted base and upper layer brushed snailturn pattern with honeycomb motif on the back

Case

Sandblasted Grade 5 Titanium case with left-side screw-down crown

The GCA 5482 caliber has been rotated by 180° to allow the crown to be placed on the left of the Maestro Case. As a result, the balance wheel is now located at 1 o'clock, capturing all the power, while the train wheel follows the movement downwards consequently.
