Gerald Charles continues to expand its presence across Asia, welcoming new retail partners in Seoul and Osaka and deepening its dialogue with collectors throughout the region. Each opening brings the Maison’s collections closer to a clientele that shares its passion for creative freedom, bold design and independent watchmaking.

Maison Gerald Charles announces its arrival in Seoul through its partner Rocca, marking the brand’s entry into one of Asia’s most dynamic luxury markets. This opening represents the natural evolution of a long-standing relationship, as Gerald Charles is already present in three Rocca points of sale across Italy. South Korea today stands among the most influential cultural forces in the world. Its young, discerning and design-conscious clientele shows a growing appreciation for independent Haute Horlogerie, while Seoul has become a trendsetting capital.

During the opening celebration prominent figures from the Korean creative scene took part in the event. Among them was Nayeon, member of the global K-pop phenomenon TWICE and one of the most recognized faces of her generation. Her choice: the Mini Maestro Ice Blue. On her wrist, the luminous dial and fluid lines of the piece confirmed its status as an icon of contemporary elegance, true to the design legacy of Gérald Charles Genta.

Japan has long been one of the Maison’s most important markets, home to collectors who have embraced Gerald Charles with enthusiasm and a deep understanding of fine watchmaking. This commitment was further strengthened with the opening of our second mono-brand boutique in the country, Gerald Charles / Independent Watch, at Takashimaya Watch Maison Osaka, operated by Mugino & Co. The boutique presents the complete collections alongside Asia-exclusive creations available nowhere else.

Gerald Charles took part in Bangkok Watch Week at Siam Paragon, one of the region’s leading gatherings for watch enthusiasts and collectors. During the event’s symposium, CEO Federico Ziviani took the stage to share the story of the Maison: from its founder to the iconic Maestro case, through to the latest collections. His talk offered the Asian audience a journey through the vision, creativity and craftsmanship that define Gerald Charles today, and an invitation to share in that passion.
Seoul and Osaka join a network that already spans the region’s most discerning markets:
Japan – seven points of sale, including the Maison’s own boutiques
Taiwan – two points of sale
Hong Kong – three points of sale
Singapore – one point of sale
In each of these markets, Gerald Charles has found an enthusiastic and knowledgeable following. Together, they reflect the central role Asia plays in the Maison’s growth strategy, and its commitment to building lasting relationships with collectors across the region.
