Maison Gerald Charles is delighted to announce that it will be the official timekeeper of the Generali Open ATP 250 Tournament in Kitzbühel, starting from 2023.

Settled in the Alps in the Tyrol region of Austria, the Generali Open Kitzbühel is a historic tournament played on clay. Since its return to the ATP tour in 2011, it has become a much-anticipated draw for players and spectators alike.

The tournament will take place from July 29th to August 5th 2023. Singles and doubles winners of the tournament will be awarded a Maestro GC Sport Clay, the latest Gerald Charles timepiece which takes inspiration and design influence from tennis sport.

Following the success of the three iterations of the Maestro GC Sport timepieces and the partnership with some ATP professional tennis players, Maison Gerald Charles is now proud to strengthen its tennis association and start this new sponsorship with Generali Open Kitzbühel.

The Maestro GC Sport is an elegant watch with a sporty look that was developed and tested with some professional tennis players, to ensure ultimate comfort on court. Gerald Charles is one of the few independent watchmaking brands to have realized a mechanical watch that professional athletes can comfortably wear during competitive play. The Maestro GC Sport features a case in Grade 5 mirror-polished titanium which is an extremely light and hard material, and a left-hand crown to allow freedom of movement during play. Thee original GC Sport in royal blue colour was followed by the GC Sport Clay and the GC Sport Grass. The latest two iterations feature a unique hammered dial, a subtle nod towards the hard courts tennis surface and capturing the spirit of the professional clay and grass courts tennis seasons. Thee combination of high-end craftsmanship and wearability is what makes Gerald Charles, and particularly the Maestro GC Sport so special.

This sponsorship represents an additional step forward for Gerald Charles confirming once more its close relationship with the world of professional tennis.
